Out-of-pocket Lactation Consultations are priced into 3 different groups, each based on your financial situation.
By taking into consideration varying financial situations, we strive to make pricing reasonable while still making it possible to receive help. The determination of which group to purchase (Group A, B, or C) works on the honor system: each person chooses a group that is appropriate to their individual financial situation, no questions asked. We operate this way trusting in truthfulness and accountability. To help you determine which group to select, we've included some guidelines below. While we ask you to take these factors into consideration, please don’t stress about it - please pay what feels right.
Consider paying for Group A if you:
Are supporting children or have other dependents
Have significant debt or financial struggle
Have medical expenses not covered by insurance
Receive public assistance
Group A: $150
Consider paying for Group C if you:
Own the home you live in
Have investments, retirement accounts, or inherited money
Travel recreationally
Have access to family money and resources in times of need
Work part time by choice
Group C: $220
Consider paying for Group B if you lay in between groups A and C.
Group B: $185
